Looking to buy or sell a used band instrument?

The Instrument Classifieds page will serve as a hub for used band instruments available for sale. Whether you're looking to buy/sell a used step-up instrument, marching band practice instrument, or a student model instrument, this page will be updated with instruments available from Mason Band friends, family, and alumni. All postings have been vetted and approved by someone on the band director team. Scroll down to see available instruments for sale.

Only instruments in good working condition will be posted to this page, but directors recommend families request to see and try the instrument in person before buying.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to verify payment information and confirmation before turning over an instrument to a potential buyer. Unfortunately checks and cashiers checks can be forged, so it is very important that you confirm payment and the condition of the instrument before confirming the sale. Mason Bands offers this resource for families as a tool, but accepts no responsibility for navigating or negotiating terms of sales.

Yamaha YAS-23 Alto Saxophone

Student Model Yamaha YAS-23 Alto Saxophone for sale. Used for two years and in excellent condition. Comes with case, neck strap, a box of seven unused reeds, and cleaning supplies. Asking $300.00. Contact Monica Bradley, monicawbradley78@gmail.com.

Yamaha YSL-8820 Xeno Trombone

Trombone is in generally very good condition. The majority of its use was in concert band. It comes with general supplies (case, mouthpiece, slide cream, cleaning rod, etc.). This trombone was previously owned by Chad Arnow (instructor/Cincinnati Pops member), and was used for 3 years at Mason. There are minor scratches/buff marks (need to be within 3 feet to be visible), but no dents or deformations. The F-attachment is also tested and working, though it could maybe use cleaning/lubrication. More pictures available upon request. Asking $2,400. Yamaha YSL-548GOAL Intermediate "Allegro" Trombone
