Concert Winds

Concert Winds focuses on refining instrument playing skills and performing robust music literature to both challenge and grow students to become better musicians. As one of four upper level bands in the Mason High School Band program, Concert Winds performs three concerts during the year and participates in the Cincinnati Regional Concert Band Festival and OMEA adjudicated events.

Concert Winds Student Info

Students in grades 9-12 are selected by audition in spring of the prior school year. All students are highly ecnouraged to take private music lessons.

Participation in Concert Winds fulfills the prerequisite for participation in extra-curricular and co-curricular events such as Marching Band, Jazz Band and Winter Percussion. Students are part of the basketball pep band which requires attendance at two games.
