ISAAC SLAVENS is currently a student at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music pursuing a Master's degree in Euphonium Performance. He finished his Bachelor's degree in Music Education in the Spring of 2021.

As an educator, Isaac has taught in various musical mediums. His private studio has included brass instruments of all kinds. Students of the studio have participated in district and all-state bands, received superior ratings at solo and ensemble competitions, and have chosen to pursue music in college, most notably attending CCM and the University of Indianapolis. Isaac also serves as the brass section manager for the Kings High School marching band as well as a marching/concert band technician at Archbishop Moeller High School, Mount Notre Dame High School, and Lebanon High School.

As a musician, Isaac has competed in international euphonium competitions around the country, most notably placing 2nd at the Rafeal Mendez Brass Institute Mock Band competition and being named one-of-four finalists for the International Tuba-Euphonium Conference Mock Military Band competition in 2019. Isaac has also played with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and taken part in multiple recording projects such as Dr. Steve Darling's American Landscapes and soon to come CCM albums. His teachers include Hiram Diaz, Timothy Nortcut, JC Heisler, and Brian McDonough.
