Braydon Sowell
Braydon Sowell is currently studying at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM) for a DMA in Saxophone Performance with Dr. James Bunte. He received his Master’s in Saxophone Performance at CCM and his Bachelor’s in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he studied with Dr. Nathan Nabb.
Specializing in chamber music, Braydon is the soprano saxophonist in the Crimson Quartet based at CCM. As well as competing in competitions such as the North American Saxophone Alliance, the Crimson Quartet soloed with the CCM Wind Symphony in Spring 2023. Braydon is also the saxophonist in the BARQ Reed Quintet whom have been invited to perform in multiple venues across Cincinnati.
As an avid soloist and teacher, Braydon won the CCM Saxophone Concerto Competition and performed with the CCM Wind Ensemble in 2023. He is also a private saxophone instructor at Mason HS and Ryle HS in Cincinnati, OH.
