Bio
Adam Coffman is an active freelance trumpet performer and teacher in the Cincinnati area. Before coming to Cincinnati, Adam performed with the San Angelo Symphony as the utility/3rd trumpet from 2015-2017. He has also appeared as a guest chamber performer with David Bilger, Robert Sullivan, and Bert Truax at the Truax School of Trumpet.
A passionate educator, Adam maintains a private studio at Mason High School and also teaches as part of the Applied Brass faculty for West Chester Academy. His studio consists of students from across the greater Cincinnati area. Additionally, in 2016 he served as the Trumpet faculty at the Angelo State University Summer Band Camp. Coffman has also served as a clinician at varying High Schools in Texas and Ohio.
Adam holds a Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor’s degree in Trumpet Performance from Angelo State Univeristy. His primary teachers include Alan Siebert, Phil Collins, John Zappa, Bert Truax, and John Irish.
