NEW INFORMATION
Save The Date-Booster Meeting/Election April 30th
Please plan to join us on April 30th for our next booster meeting and Executive Board election. The meeting will take place at 7pm in the High School Large Commons. In addition to the election, we will be providing critical information regarding band camp and the upcoming marching band season. We will also have individuals available to answer any questions you may have about the registration process along with the most current information on our switch to BoosterHub. We hope to see you there!
Attention All Winter Guard Groups
It has been brought to our attention that the parking lots for pick up and drop off for Winter Guard have become a bit of an issue as of late. We are requesting that you park your car in a parking space when picking up or dropping off your Winter Guard student. This will make the parking lot a safer place and will alleviate congestion. Please also practice caution in the parking lot by driving slowly and watching out for students. Safety is always our number one priority. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Replacement For Charms Has Been Chosen
Charms, our band database/communication tool we have utilized for the past several years, was bought out by a new company. It has been determined that the new company will not be able to meet the needs of our band program. Therefore, over the last several months, the Executive Booster Committee, band directors, and other critical leadership team members have been researching and testing out other platforms to replace Charms. We are happy to report that we have selected BoosterHub as our Charms replacement. If you would like to learn more about BoosterHub, please click HERE.
Key Things To Know
- We are diligently working to get BoosterHub set up and ready to go.
- Our contract with Charms ends on May 3rd.
- In the near future all 2024 Marching Band families will receive an invitation to join Booster Hub. Please accept the invitation and download the BoosterHub App on your mobile device.
- Seniors and Concert band families, we are still developing the timeline of when we will send out invitations to you. (Seniors we are working to decide whether we will have you join BoosterHub or if we will communicate with you via other means through the end of the school year.)
- Soon we will provide further instructions on additional steps you will need to take such as how to update your information within the system. This information will be via band notes, email, and/or training sessions.
- It is important that all band students and family members read future communication carefully and follow all instructions given to make the switch to BoosterHub. Failure to do so will result in no longer being able to receive communication from the band and potentially missing critical information/deadlines.
Please Note: There may be a bit of a learning curve for all of us as we get used to the new system so we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to successfully transition us to BoosterHub. If you have any questions or concerns during the process, please do not hesitate to contact secretary@masonbandboosters.com or registration@masonbandboosters.com. Thank you!
