MB Awards Pics

Marching Band Awards Night Thank Yous and Links

Many thanks to Laura Minniear and the amazing crew who assisted with the awards on Tuesday. Events like this truly take a village to organize and execute.

Thank you to OfficeDepot, Titan Awards, the UPS Store, and Bodey Sales for continuing to be so great at working with us on certificates, plaques, programs, and varsity letters and pins.

Lauren Carson and Hongmei Li, thanks for putting together the season slideshow so we can all go down memory lane of our fun season.

Photo Crew, thank you for documenting the evening by taking incredible photos.

Kaja Harper, you did a fantastic job with the Senior Slideshow! It was fun to see our seniors when they were little and to see the wonderful young men and women they have become today. Thanks as well for organizing the Senior Night and all of the other little things you did to make our Seniors feel special this year.

Tiffany Williams and Melissa Woodward, I appreciate you passing out the awards and keeping things moving along.

Gina Marshall and Michelle Andre, your balloon arch and decorations were fantastic. They made for a great photo opportunity. We so appreciate you leading Spirit this year!

A special thanks to all of the parents who donated cookies and water for the evening.  The special treats made the night feel extra special.

To the following parents and students who helped with set up and/or clean up: Sheila McAdams, Dave McAdams, Lilly McAdams, Garrett Cetti, Qais Shaikh, Regina Devassy, Marianne Bakos, Cassie Myers, Carrie Upchurch, Jeanie Knuth, Kristen Robiglio, Sarah Kern, Eunkyoung Choi, Desirae Richey, Matt Richey, Florencia Rush, Heather Smith, and anyone else who I may have inadvertently missed. (Apologies I didn't get to talk to some of you.) Thank You!! Many hands make light work.

We also appreciate the Mason City Schools administration who support all of our endeavors and the facilities staff who assisted with making sure we had all the equipment and space we needed for the evening.  Shout out in particular to Jenni Schmeichel (facilities manager), Katie Turfan (tech support), and the custodial staff.

Band directors and staff, thanks for recognizing the hard work of our students. It was a night to recognize our students, but please know how much we appreciate the hard work, dedication, and opportunities you have provided us this past year.

Thanks to all the parents, friends, and extended family who came out to support and celebrate our band students. Lastly, thanks to the students for giving us an unforgettable season!
