This Friday, September 21 is the deadline to RSVP to Senior Night and provide the requested items as noted in the invitation that was sent to you. In addition, Friday is the deadline to submit your Senior Ad!
New MB Parent Meeting
Parents of new marchers...join is for an informal ‘coffee talk’ this Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm in the teachers lounge to answer all of your questions about competition season. If you have any questions please email newmember@masonbandboosters.com
Sponsor a trophy at the Mason Invitational!
For those of you new to marching band, trophy sponsorship is a great way to support the Band Boosters and a fun way to participate in the Mason Invitational Awards Ceremonies on October 13th!
There will be two awards ceremonies, one following the A/AA band performances, and one following the AAA/AAAA/Open band performances.
This year, trophy sponsorships will be $25 each. If you are interested in sponsoring a trophy, please fill out the Trophy Sponsor Form: https://form.jotform.com/Masonbands/mason-invitational-trophy-sponsor-r . You will receive an invoice and email with specific instruction after award sponsors are determined.
Please direct all trophy sponsor questions to vice.president@masonbandboosters.com.
*As in past years, priority is given based on grade level, date/time of request, and past sponsorship. Also, a digital photo of each presenter will be placed on Smugmug and will be mailed to the trophy recipient Band Director. No names will be attached to the digital photo file.

Saturday’s lunch is a Feed the Band event, sponsored by Subway. Please sign up in Charms to help with the event.

Medication Reminder for Bowling Green
OTC Medication
We encourage parents/guardians to provide access to our central supply of 3 typical OTC medications if your student has ever needed one of these medications in the past: ibuprofen, acetaminophen, benadryl. Please see links below to partially filled DMS forms. These forms require both a parent and doctor’s signature and can be submitted via email to medicalsecretary@masonbandboosters.com. You can check the status of your student’s access to central medication in Charms in the “Central OTC” field on the student profile.

As-Needed or Scheduled Medication
If your student takes medication that is not centrally provided, you must submit DMS form(s) and the associated medication(s). If you need to drop off forms/medication prior to our trip to Bowling Green, please sign up in Charms for an appointment during rehearsal on Monday Sept 24th. Below is a link to a blank DMS form.
Important Reminders about Medication:
1. If you have already submitted DMS forms and medication, we will bring that medication with us for your student. If you need to ‘refill’ one of these medications, please sign up for Medication Drop Off in Charms.
2. Students are not allowed to carry their own medication unless it is emergency medication such as an inhaler or epinephrine and the proper DMS form is on file. We recommended that you submit backup supplies of emergency medications for Band Aids to carry as well.
3. Please make a copy of your forms for your records before you turn them in.

Photo Orders: Panoramic/Group Photos
Panoramic and group photos of the Marching Band were taken this past Saturday. To order, go to MasonMarchingPhotos.com and select “Order Panoramic”, or go to the “Panoramic” page on the top menu. You can order individual prints or framed copies of both the Panoramic and Group Section Photos. Value priced combo packages are also available. All orders must be placed by Sat, Sep 29, 2018.
Because the Pano picture also includes elements of the show formations, this order will be distributed on Awards Night at the end of the season.

New Years Eve Fundraising Questionnaire
Mason Bands has the opportunity to partner with Basils on Market to create a fun filled evening to celebrate with friends and neighbors. This would be an opportunity to raise funds for the program with minimal volunteer effort, and a way to invite the entire community. As we continue to pursue new ways for our boosters to connect and also ways to raise funds, your feedback and ideas are important. Please take a moment to share your perspective.
