Uniform Update

With our first home game and Heritage Parade right around the corner, following are some important reminders for instrumental marchers and their families:

1. Next week marchers will have Uniform 101 training and will suit-up for a dress rehearsal giving our younger marchers the opportunity to adjust to performance in uniform. If you haven’t placed black shoes and/or socks in your uniform bag, now is the time. Uniform racks will be in the hallway on Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. For marchers who ordered new shoes, they arrived last week, were labeled and placed in your bag.

2. Rack Captains haven been selected. We would like to have another 4-6 Captains to fully cover all 12 racks, so if you are a junior or senior marcher, take pride in wearing our uniform and like to receive delicious treats on Friday nights, this gig is for you. Email Mrs. Nichols at uniforms@masonbandboosters.com to sign up.

3. reminder about Summer Uniforms, worn when the weather is too hot for the formal uniform, at parades and various other events where our students are invited to play. Instrumental marchers wear the green Mason Bands polo, khaki knee-length shorts, dark belt, white socks and white tennis shoes. For anyone who ordered a polo but have not yet picked it up, they will be available outside the band room on Thursday and Saturday during rehearsal.
