MORE VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR AFTER PROM
Help wanted! We are in need of volunteers to help decorate and run the band’s Disco Tattoo Shop during After Prom on Friday, April 30th. Both parents and students can help decorate and set up prior to the event. During After Prom itself, we ask for only parent volunteers due to Covid restrictions. *Please note After Prom will not run quite as late this year.
To volunteer please log into Charms. Please click on the “helping hand” on the April 30th date in the calendar to sign up to volunteer your time.
Monetary donations would also be helpful and can be made online here . Cash/Check donations can also be placed in the drop box next to the band room. Donations will be used for decorations and other items needed for the night. Thank you to everyone who has already made donations and signed up to volunteer! It promises to be a fun night!! Please email secretary@masonbandboosters.com with any questions you may have.
SPRING FLOWER SALE IS UNDERWAY!
Our annual spring flower (and vegetable) sale is underway! Please be sure to share the details with your friends and family! Band families should plan to pick up any flowers ordered in support of their student on May 7th, 6-8pm or May 8th, 9am-12pm. We ask that you deliver them to the friends and family who helped to support our band that weekend. Flowers can also be directly delivered for a $15 fee. Click here to order.
CO-CHAIRS ARE STILL NEEDED FOR OUR VIRTUAL CARWASH
This year, our car wash will remain a virtual event. We will be selling car wash passes for Mike’s Car Wash and they will be available just in time for Father’s Day. The Virtual Event will run from Mid-May - Early June. If you would like to support the band as a chair of this event, please reach out to Krissy at fundraising@masonbandboosters.com. This is a great entry opportunity for someone wanting to get involved. We would need you to draft communication, sort car wash passes by family for pick up, and connect with our treasurer team on setting up our payment details.
JOIN THE STUDENT CARE TEAM AS A CHAPERONE OR BAND AID!
We invited you to join the student care team by expressing your interest to serve as a Chaperone or Band Aid! During Marching Band season, whether you are a parent of a musician or guard student, we are all one team working together to support all of our students. Both Chaperones and Band Aids provide care for our students during extended rehearsals, competitions and when the band travels. If you are new to Marching Band, this is your first step to demonstrate interest in joining us to care for our students.
